Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the warmed milk, melted butter, and egg. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough begins to form.
  • On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 minutes. Let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Assembly

  • Roll the dough out into a rectangle, spread melted butter over the top, and sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar evenly.
  • Roll the rectangle tightly into a log and cut it into equal slices.
  • Place the slices in a greased baking dish and allow them to rise again for another 30 minutes.

Baking

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Frosting

  • For the frosting, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Notes
