Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, melt the butter and stir in the granulated sugar until smooth.

  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually stir this mixture into the butter mixture until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the greased pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let them cool completely.

Mousse Preparation

  • Whisk the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • Melt the chopped chocolate slightly and fold it into the whipped cream.
  • Spread the mousse layer evenly over the cooled brownies and chill for at least 2 hours.
  • Drizzle the chocolate ganache over the top before serving.
